ANNUAL TRAINING SESSION FOR LAK-O-TONE ACCOUNTANTS

For Immediate Release

Bath Training

A charming annual tradition was repeated last week as the Lak-O-Tone accounting department underwent Bath Training. The tradition started many years ago due to a misunderstanding. Lak-O-Tone Chief Financial Officer Chester Hasbrook Frisbee noticed that, although the financial numbers for the company were excellent, there was no cash available. Investigation showed that the accountants knew addition very well, but had no conception of subtraction, so expenses were greatly under-reported. Mr. Frisbee ordered his assistant, Mrs. Mooseman,  to give the accountants math training. Unfortunately, he had a head cold at the time, and when Mrs. Mooseman reported back that the tubs were ready, it was too late to correct the error. But some employees had been a little careless with personal hygiene, and bath training turned out to be useful, so it's now repeated as an annual event in the accounting department.

Math training was achieved separately when the company brought in a professor who showed the accountants that subtraction could be achieved by adding negative numbers. They were so excited by the discovery that they now insist that Lak-O-Tone use only negative numbers for their recording releases.
